The National Bureau of Economic Research says the worst recession since WW II ended June 2009.
If that's true, then the current recession started in July 2009.
Seriously, is anyone buying this?

Nope not buying it. Mission accomplished without the aircraft carrier. This will come back to haunt Obama - hence, the reason he is running from it. He hopes it goes away.
The panic in the White House should tell you something - economic advisers hitting the exits before the whole thing implodes. 10% unemployment is the new normal.
